A reflection on the intervention in Cultural Landscape involving heritage, urban planning and architecture, and about its protection, use and revitalization policies. Archaeology fields derived from industrial decay, now to be integrated in the contemporary landscape. Territories trapped in the post-tourism society, which builds high residential densities on many European waterfronts, causing energy and waste unbalances, as well as exponential mobility and segregation. Landscapes strongly defined by infrastructure and energy: high speed, and alternative energies … are now changing the image of the territory.
